No More Muumuus!
Many mothers-to-be tend to think that being pregnant would mean sacrificing their fashion styles and fashion statements, setting them side for a while as they need to purchase baggy clothes to make room for that special bump in their abdomens. That may be the case decades ago as most of the styles of maternity dresses and clothes tend to look the same: baggy, with ruffles, or sometimes with laces or cute pictures of babies and cartoon animals. Fortunately, maternity clothes shopping should not mean frustration over not having your usual taste in clothes as designers of today thought of new styles to suit mothers of character.
As modern women doesn’t fear working even when they are expecting, designers stepped in to maternity fashion to cut the thread of existing old style of maternity clothes. Today, maternity formal and office attire are available and stylish, as women still has to put that efficient and competent look to be taken seriously at the office. Cute and childish fashion is for the babies, not for the mothers.
Especially a few months later, when almost everything in a mother’s dimension becomes bigger than before, mothers need not to hide those still fabulous looking legs and arms. Today’s style permits expectant mothers to be life-creating and sexy at the same time.
