The Christmas Season

Aside from being a famous sacred religious holiday, Christmas is also a commercial and cultural phenomenon worldwide. Christmas is celebrated by Christians in honor of the anniversary of the birth of a spiritual leader Jesus of Nazareth. Christmas Centerpieces, lights, garlands, Christmas trees and colorful decorations adorn many houses and buildings usually starting from Thanksgiving.

Christmas Day, celebrated during the 25th day of December, became a federal holiday in the United States in the year 1870. Many children believe in the existence of a jolly old man called Santa Claus, who is believed to bring children gifts during Christmas Eve when they are already asleep. He does this by traveling around the world via his sleigh full of toys pulled by eight flying reindeers named Francer, Dancer, Vixen, Donder, Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, and Dasher and climbing into each house’s chimney to enter the house. The ninth reindeer known as Rudolf “the red-nosed reindeer” is the most popular even though he is not a member of the Santa’s original eight reindeers. His story as well as the song about him teaches the thought that liability can sometimes be turned into an asset.

Stores and malls sometimes hire employees to dress like Santa Claus to attract shoppers and children into their premises. Many people use Christmas as a chance of giving something to others without expecting something in return.

Experiencing an unsatisfactory situation in any transaction or shopping doesn’t mean you already have to file a complaint. It is still better to find a way to resolve any misunderstanding immediately in a polite and civil manner before leaving the establishment or building to avoid more unnecessary misunderstandings. Thus, before filing Tesco Complaints or any negative feedback about your unsatisfactory experience in a business establishment, it is wiser to ask for a person to whom you can discuss you concerns with so that it will be dealt with and resolved in a peaceful manner.

Some customers tend to be over reactive when it comes to their shopping experience. Some file complaints due to the inconvenience the rules and regulations of the store brought them. This should not be so. Customers must understand that store and businesses’ regulations and rules are set to establish a more organized manner of transaction and to provide an orderly operation for the benefit of the majority of the public.

Thus, if the rules about getting in line to check you baggage in the baggage counter have caused you to miss your favorite television program, you know very well that it is quite irrational to file a complaint about it as the rule is for the betterment of the shopping experience of many and not you alone.
